Steps Challenge Account Set Up:

You will need:
  • A smartphone (Android or iOS)
  • The Pacer app
  • Your Organization Code (HU102574)

UPD will be using the Pacer App to facilitate our steps challenge. Signing up is free and simple. Just follow the steps below:

1. Download the Pacer App on your iOS or Android. You can find the app on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store

2. Launch the Pacer App, tap the Enter Challenge code button, and enter your Org code. Confirm you are joining thecorrect Organization.

Then, click the join button.

3. Pacer will then as you to agree to the Pacer App Privacy for Teams when you create an account. If you are a new user, Pacer will ask you a few additional health questions to help configure that app. This information is private and not shared with anyone in your challenge.


Existing Pacer User:

1. After your challenge Admin sends you the Org Code, launch the Pacer App, tap the search button icon (magnifying glass) on the Home screen, enter your Org Code, confirm you are joining the correct Org, and tap the Join button.

2. Pacer will then ask you to agree to the Pacer app Privacy Privacy and Pacer for Teams Terms of Service.

3. Tap your team, confirm and you’re ready to go! You’ll automatically be entered into any existing or future virtual challenges your Admin creates.

4. If you plan on syncing Pacer to a third-party wearable or app, such as Apple Health and Google Fit, please visit the QR code for step-by-step instructions.
